I've been having a rough few weeks and I thought a great pick me up would be to get George to come over and talk hockey.  Since this is a history and pop culture podcast I figure we could talk about one of the greatest hockey games in history; the 1980 USA vs USSR Olympic hockey game.  Also known as the Miracle on Ice.  So, we talk about that game, but mostly we talk about how the game was actually a sort of proxy war between the US and the Soviets.  We also talk about hockey in general and how political it is in Russia, even today.
