Romans 8:28 says “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Do we really believe this? Is it something we experience in our daily lives or will we have to wait for heaven in order to realise the truth of this verse? For Ben Sherwood, God’s providence and sovereignty have been a constant in his life. It is one of his core beliefs. Growing up as a pastor's son with all the accompanying pressures that come with that, Ben had his own time in the wilderness but came to experience the providential Hand of God in his life which led him to a renewed and deeper understanding of an Almighty loving Lord who cares for all our needs and promises that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
