The PS5 is getting Denuvo Anti-Cheat available on its platform. This is a surprise for many since cheating on the PS5 is not a common issue, and PS5 piracy is practically unheard of. Denuvo has been made available in the past so it's unclear why it was announced. Platform security company Irdeto says its Denuvo Anti-Cheat technology will join the PS5 Tools and Middleware program, giving game makers the ability to flummox anyone trying to get an unfair advantage when gaming.
