Welcome to the Ministry of Praise, a ministry of Highland Baptist Church in Florence, Alabama. We exist to help Christians become better worshipers and disciple-makers of Jesus. The book of Psalms is an intentional collection of the prayers and songs of God's people that are meant to be used personally and corporately for worship! The psalms fall into two general categories of prayers: lament and praise. The book flows from more lament to more praise but also covers a wide range of human emotions.
