PA535 Psalm 108:1-15 mp3
In this message, we begin with Psalm 108, a psalm of David, this time not a new psalm, but one made of a composite of Psalms 57:7-11 and 60:5-12, perhaps put to new music, singing praise to God for His glory and mercy, and requesting His help against enemies. Then beginning psalm 109, in which David asks for help in light of the curses of his enemies. This is often called an “imprecatory psalm,” and is used to try to show that God could not possibly have inspired such sentiments. Yet are the words given here really David’s by inspiration? We consider this psalm and what many careless expositors have missed regarding it.
