Psalm 119 is an acrostic poem. That means each section is keyed to a single letter of the Hebrew alphabet, starting with "aleph". The poetic mechanism doesn't happen when the chapter is translated, but it is interesting to know this fact about the original psalm. This is the longest chapter in the whole Bible.
