In this sermon, we explore Psalm 125 and the promises that those who trust in God will be established like Mount Zion and surrounded by God like the mountains around Jerusalem. This image is beautiful and comforting. The question is, what do we do with a Psalm like this when things go badly? What happens when, as Psalm 137 says, we hang up our harps and can't sing glorious songs about Zion and the mountains around Jerusalem?
