In a world that resists authority, why do we often rebel against God’s rule?

Psalm 2 paints a clear picture of humanity’s resistance to God’s sovereignty and the unshakable reign of Christ. The world may rage, but God remains seated on the throne, laughing at the futility of rebellion. True peace is found in surrendering to Christ, the King who will never be overthrown.
