Psalm 23 is one of the most well-known songs in history, sung across generations because it speaks to our deepest longings and needs. In it, David calls the Lord his Shepherd. The One who provides, protects, and pursues His people. This psalm isn’t just a comfort for funerals; it’s a truth for everyday life. When we belong to the Shepherd, we are never without what we need, never alone in the valley, and never beyond the reach of His love.
