In the celebration declared in Psalm 30, David says that he will praise the Lord! Why? Because the Lord lifted him up, healed him, and kept him alive. He basically says: I’ll praise you Lord because you saved me!! You brought me from death to life.
**** This weekly women's Bible study includes lectures by me, Elizabeth Bagwell Ficken, which coordinates with the study guide "Come, Let Us Worship" which can be found on Amazon. More info at my website https://www.elizabethficken.com The Psalms prompt us to turn to the Lord and see that He is with us every moment of our lives, sovereign, faithful, loving, wise, and worthy of all our devotion. They remind us that the Lord God is our great and glorious King who one day will reign on the earth. While we wait for Him, and when we see Him... come, let us worship the King.
