In Psalm 30 David talks about a series of new "beginnings."
11 You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing.
You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy,
12 that I might sing praises to you and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!
Psalm 30:11-12
Dear shepherd leader, let this psalm remind us to allow the Lord to turn our moments of pride into humility, our mourning into joyful dancing, and remember that joy WILL come in the morning.
