Verses 6 and 7: The Hermonites lived in the slopes of Mount Hermon, which is located on the borders of Syria and Lebanon. Mount Hermon is 9,232 feet above sea level and is the highest point in Syria and Israel. The mountain's peak can be spotted from over 60 miles away.

Verse 6: The hill Mizar is a smaller mountain located next to Mount Hermon. David is thought to have seen the Hermonites from this peak.
