This is really a continuation of Psalm 42 that we looked at a few weeks ago. They would have been one psalm at one point, as you’ll find out in the opening comments on this psalm. There is a sense in which the psalmist knows what to do and needs to snap out of his negativity, and go back to where he ought to be – at the house of the Lord, the Temple or The Church, and there worship his God, who is his exceeding joy!
