Welcome to Psalm and Prayer,

Where we say a prayer based on psalm in the bible.

 

Sometimes we just have to pray for the bad people in our lives.

I know it’s hard to do.

We have this jerk that’s just going out of the way to cause problems.

We can fight them all we want,

But at the end of the day,

Only God can bring them justice.

Today’s prayer is based on Psalm 52

 

God will judge the evildoer.

Our anger must not block our confidence in God’s ability to defeat evil.

 

That can be really hard to do at times.

Especially when you have someone that goes so far out of their way to cause trouble for you.

 

A bully at work,

A bad neighbor,

Someone that mocks your relationship with God.

 

We will encounter all of these things at some point.

Let’s not let our anger get to the best of us.

Let’s not think of ways to get even or get back at them.

Let’s remember that God will bring us justice.

 

Let’s pray that God will show our enemies love and anger.

Bringing them not only to justice but also to Christ.
