Psalm nine has a mix of Thanksgiving and gratitude for God‘s work, but at the same time, it has some pretty rough language about our enemies. When I listen and read psalms, I try to think of enemies as my own negative thoughts versus other humans. My mind plays tricks on me and deceives me, and I would hope on God and being grateful would help intercede with those thoughts.
