Awake My Soul (A Study of the Psalms) Series || C.T. Studd famously said:

Only one life, yes only one,

Now let me say, ”Thy will be done”;

And when at last I’ll hear the call,

I know I’ll say “twas worth it all”;

Only one life, ’twill soon be past,

Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Psalm 90 tells us to numbers our days, reminding us that while God is immortal, we are mortal. Our life is just a blip on the timeline of life while God is from everlasting to everlasting. Are you going to spend this one life you have advancing your personal kingdom (which will one day fade), or are you going to spend it advancing God's Kingdom, which is eternal?
