* A few years ago I spoke with an NFL player about reputation.

* He carried on and on about the name on the back of the jersey.

* While it’s true we should take care of our own reputation, I challenged him about being more concerned with the name on the “front” of the jersey.

* He didn’t like that very much at all, and didn’t even comprehend what I was trying to say.

* It just shows how selfish professional sports is.

* As believers we need to concern ourselves more with what’s on the front (CHRISTIAN) than what’s on the back (BENHAM).

* If we take care of the name on the front it will naturally take care of the name on the back.
