* Vs 1-4 - We are to praise God with music and dancing.

* These two things are most often present at parties.

* Why? Because God made us this way - He made us to use them to draw close to Him.

* Music touches the spirit of a person in a powerful way.

* Dancing is a natural response of the soul to the music.

* This is why music is so powerful - it puts the “motion” in “emotion.”

* Satan perverts all of this for his own ends.

* Vs 5-6 - we praise God by being who He created us to be.

* Look at vs 5 - “praise Him with the sounding cymbals; praise Him with the loud clashing cymbals.”

* You have two different types of cymbals doing the same thing - making their particular melody to God.

* God wants us to be who He created us to be, and when we are we praise Him!

* I cannot be David - David cannot be me.

* If we try to be each other then we cease to truly praise God.

* We praise God when we act according to our design.
