Hello, Void! We're back with another peek into the bad movie vault, and this time we've been blinded by Gods of Egypt. This is a movie set in Egypt (Atlantis style?), played by white people (cause it's y2k, wait, wait, wait, it's actually 2016!), and filled to the brim with terrible CGI (no ILM for you!). We discuss how Hollywood needs more one-eyed hot guys, Hathor's VIP star-encrusted rave bracelet, and how much fun Gerard Butler is having. Genuinely, Gerard's portrayal of Set is the only thing that keeps this film afloat, and he does it with sassy/snarky comments, being evil, and threatening people (but make it sexy). It's wild to see such a stellar cast be just so miserable. But worry not, Void! For your hosts, Erin and Brennan, do what they do best: get REAL nerdy about ancient Egyptian history and mythology!!
