In our first episode of PSR, we visit Bay Area DJ and record collector Anthony Colón at his home in Oakland California.
Anthony and I used to have a monthly night at Rock Bar in the Mission District in San Francisco called Hello Stranger. The night ran for over 4 years. Unfortunately, we where forced to end it due to cabaret permit about a year ago. Anthony has since become a father and is taking a break from all Dj commitments. I got to catch up with him and meet his lovely daughter Ruby for the first time. He welcomed me into his home and set up the portables on the kitchen table where we recorded this first episode. This playlist was not pre-selected, all records were picked on the spot. What we ended up with was an all 45rpm, half female, half male, all hitters mix.
