Background on Roger Campos:

Born in San Francisco,  Roger fell in love with the outdoors in high school.  After high school, he moves to New Hampshire with his soon-to-be wife and finds a passion for counseling and outdoor recreation, which leads him into the field of mental health counseling.

In the field of mental health counseling, there are people who suffer from serious mental health conditions.  Roger talks about working with patients and the challenges of working with people who may pass away from addiction.

Today Roger still works with his high school's outdoor recreation program on their backpacking trips and ropes courses. 

 He also leads group discussions for people in recovery and does research on mental health practices for people to improve their overall mental and physical well-being.
