Sometimes letting go is not about understanding the past—it is about getting the emotion out of your system.
In this episode of Psychically Speaking with Lisa Ann, I’m sharing one of my favorite release exercises: writing a letter by hand, reading it out loud, and then safely burning it.
This is not a polite letter. It is not meant to be sent. It is a way to say what you never said, honor what you actually felt, and create a clear moment of release.
We’ll also talk about the part people often miss—how repeatedly going back to the same hurt can sometimes become a way of avoiding what comes next.
Write it out. Read it out loud. Burn it safely. And let it be done.
Letting go sounds simple—until you are the one being asked to do it.
In this episode of Psychically Speaking with Lisa Ann, we’re looking at the energy of fall and what nature can teach us about release. Why do we hold on to relationships, emotions, old versions of ourselves, and situations long after we know a season has ended?
I’ll share three practical ways to make letting go a little easier, without pretending the past did not matter or forcing yourself to be “over it” before you are ready.
Because letting go does not mean it meant nothing.
Sometimes it simply means the season is complete—and it is time to make room for what comes next.
What happens when you change…but the people around you don’t?
In this episode, we’re talking about what happens when you’ve changed your patterns, strengthened your boundaries, and started becoming a new version of yourself—but everyone around you is still expecting the old one.
Because real transformation isn’t just about changing.
It’s about staying changed.

What started with me thinking something was destroying my passionflower turned into one of the most unexpected lessons nature has ever handed me.
In this episode of Psychically Speaking with Lisa Ann, I finally tell you the butterfly story and what it taught me about timing, intuition, patience, and trusting what you cannot always see.
Sometimes you know something before you know when. Sometimes what looks like nothing is happening is actually part of the process. And sometimes the best thing you can do is stop pushing, do what is yours to do, and let the rest unfold.

Have you ever looked at someone else’s life and thought, “They’re so lucky”?
For the very first Lessons From the Archives: Old Words, New Perspective, I’m going back to a blog I wrote 13 years ago and asking: Do I still believe what I believed then?
We’re talking about the grass not always being greener, what we never see behind someone else’s success, failure, choices—and why I STILL hate the word luck. 😂
Because maybe it isn’t about getting lucky. Maybe it’s about recognizing the opportunities in front of you and having the courage to take them.
Plus, I’m sharing a little about my brand-new SpiritDesigns collection!
✨ Stop waiting to get lucky. Pay attention to the opportunity, trust yourself enough to recognize it—and have the courage to open the damn door.

We love to talk about transformation as if it is always beautiful, empowering, and exciting—but what about the uncomfortable middle?
In this episode of Psychically Speaking with Lisa Ann, I’m talking about the part of change no one talks about enough: the uncertainty, the discomfort, and that strange in-between place where the old version of your life no longer fits, but the new version hasn’t fully arrived yet.
We’ll explore why discomfort does not always mean you are going in the wrong direction, how to become more comfortable in the discomfort, and five practical things you can do when you are moving through a season of transformation and change.
Plus, I’ll give you a listener challenge to help you recognize what you may be outgrowing—and what might already be beginning to emerge.
Sometimes transformation does not look like wings yet.
Sometimes it looks like the cocoon.

Have you ever done so much thinking, processing, journaling, therapy, healing work, and self-reflection that you start wondering… am I actually healing, or am I just analyzing myself to death?
I’m a huge believer in therapy, healing, understanding your patterns, and looking back at your past so you don’t keep making the same mistakes. But I also believe you do not have to stop living while you are healing.
In this episode of Psychically Speaking with Lisa Ann, we’re talking about when self-awareness becomes overanalysis, how “working on yourself” can sometimes keep you stuck, and why sometimes you don’t need another breakthrough—you need a next step.
Because healing and living don’t have to happen separately.
You can look backward while you’re moving forward.
Plus, stick around for this week’s Listener Challenge to help you figure out whether you need more insight…or whether it’s time to take action.

Different things. Different responses. Not every situation deserves the same response.
Some things are simply information. Some things need to be released. And some things require a very clear boundary.
In this episode of Psychically Speaking with Lisa Ann, I take my recent blog concept — Note to Self, Let It Go, or Hell No — one step further and talk about what happens when we put something in the wrong pile.
Why do we sometimes overreact to something that really belongs in Let It Go? Why do compassionate people keep putting boundary-worthy situations into Let It Go? And why do we feel like every realization requires a confrontation?
We’ll talk about:
• Why exhaustion and overwhelm can make everything feel like a Hell No
• When “letting it go” is really avoiding a boundary
• Why Note to Self may be the most underrated response of all
• How a Note to Self can eventually become a Hell No
• Why boundaries don’t require anger or drama
• How to pause long enough to figure out what a situation actually needs
Sometimes you need to take note.
Sometimes you need to let it go.
And sometimes you need a good old-fashioned Hell No.

Have you ever been so tired of something that you couldn't tell whether you needed a break…or whether you were simply DONE?
Sometimes exhaustion means we need rest. But sometimes we're drained because we're carrying something that needs to heal, giving our energy away where it doesn't belong, or continuing to do things that no longer feel aligned with who we are.
In this episode of Psychically Speaking with Lisa Ann, we're exploring the difference between being tired, needing healing, and feeling the deeper pull that something in your life needs to change.
You'll also learn three simple ways to begin shifting your energy: identifying an energy leak, bringing something back into your life that lights you up, and asking yourself what would actually feel more aligned.
Because sometimes the answer isn't getting more sleep.
Sometimes the answer is creating a life you don't constantly need to recover from.

Have you ever said, “I just don’t know what to do”…when deep down, you actually do?
In this episode, Lisa Ann explores the difference between truly needing clarity and simply being afraid to act on what you already know. From second-guessing your intuition to searching for signs, opinions, and permission, sometimes the answer isn’t as far away as we think.
Maybe you don’t need another sign. Maybe it’s time to trust yourself, take one small step, and listen to what your intuition has been telling you all along.
