This episode of Emerging Psychologist honors Black History Month by placing a spotlight on Psychologists for Black Lives, and organization of graduate students and psychologists that aims to address the mental health issues and the negative impact of racism and discrimination in the Black community. We interview Luciano Lima and Keri Kirk, two graduate students from Psy4BL, about how they came to be involved in the organization, their current activities and events, and their views of the role of psychologists and professional psychological organizations in addressing important socio-cultural issues such as racial discrimination.
