We have a couple guests joining us On The Sidelines this week! Our first guest is no stranger to the show, she’s talked to us before—2024 Paris Paralympian hopeful Kendra Herbe! She is an absolute ROCK STAR. In addition to Kendra being a world-class athlete, she’s a wife, mother, teacher, author and model. Our second guest is a star in his own right. Dr. Angel Velazquez, from OrthoCincy Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. Dr. Velazquez is one of the area’s premiere sports and regenerative medicine experts. He’s a former assistance medical director for the Cincinnati Reds and continues to work with athletes across many sports.

In this episode, we’ll catch up with Kendra on her quest to make the 2024 Paris Paralympics team, challenges she’s faced during training, and her passion for inspiring others and NEVER giving up. Dr. Velazquez will also discuss how he’s helped Kendra on her journey and how regenerative medicine is used to help athletes.
