This study looks at Genesis 17-1-14 which deals with the Covenant of Circumcision. A look into the reason for changing Abram's name to Abraham and a detailed look at the ceremony surrounding the 8th day Circumcision known as the Brit Milah -Bris- including the Friday Shalom Azkhar, the purpose of the Mohel and Sandek, and the recitation prayers during the circumcision event.
