$13 million dollars of public money will be invested in a medicinal cannabis company. Puro which grows cannabis across 10 hectares at two sites in Marlborough, has started a 5 year 32-million-dollar growth project - to develop production systems, increase plantings and explore export markets. Visiting the business this morning, Minister Damien O'Connor committed to giving13 million dollars to it - through the Sustainable Food and Fibre Futures Fund.
