This week Dan and Reid Isbell host Trampled by Turtles front man, Dave Simonett, out in God’s Country. Dave provides some incredible information about the Boundary Waters up north and the importance of getting your kids outside even though it isn’t always easy. They discuss how ethical hunting should be looked at as a practice in conservation and Dave shares what it was like to become a hunter later in life. Dave also discusses how impactful music has been on him and tells the hilariously underwhelming story of why his band landed on the name Trampled by Turtles.

Everyone agreed “Lord I Hope This Day Is Good” is the perfect song to listen to on your way to the stand and laughed over the instructions given to them over the years on how to find said stand.
