There has been a lot of speculation surrounding the death of Gavin Watson, Bosasa CEO now known as African Global Operations. He died on Monday near the OR Tambo International Airport East of Johannesburg. Taking calls on his death, some people mentioned that he was an antiapartheid activist. This then raised the question of how he damaged his reputation as many of us remember him more from being implicated for wrongdoing at the Zondo Commission into state capture. He is not the only one, we have seen how many of those in power today have tarnished their reputation so much that we have even forgotten the role they played in liberating the country. If one finds themselves in such a situation, is there any way of turning the picture around to a positive image? Why do so many people fall into the trap of corruption?
