From washing feet, to realtors not calling it a Master Bedroom, across the country we are seeing grand gestures to prove to black people that we matter. The problem with the gestures is that, a mural won't block the blood that still runs on the street when a cop shows up and murders lack people in cold blood, and then goes on a paid vacation after.
