Why do we say “right” before doing anything? Why can practically anything become a sandwich? And how many different ways can we come up with to call someone an idiot? 😂🇬🇧
This week, we're questioning the weird little things we do as British people — from our obsession with queuing and our ridiculous insults to all the habits we accept as completely normal.
We're not judging. We're literally the same. We just have questions. 😭

Abbie's getting married in 2027, Lauren's been recruited as a bridesmaid, and naturally, we have A LOT to say about weddings.
From child-free weddings and bridesmaid dress rules to banning phones during the ceremony, we're discussing our wedding non-negotiables, the unwritten rules of being a wedding guest, and whether weddings have become a little bit… ridiculous.
We're also putting our opinions to the test with a rapid-fire round of wedding hot takes, revealing what's going in Lauren's emergency bridesmaid bag (spoiler: snacks are non-negotiable), and chatting about the things that really matter when planning your big day.
Plus, Abbie opens up about her experience wedding dress shopping as a plus-size bride, why she was pleasantly surprised, and why every bride deserves to feel beautiful, comfortable and included.
Ultimately, it's your wedding, your rules. Even if Lauren does think she deserves first choice of the cake. 🎂

When did basic manners become optional? 😂In this episode, we're talking about social etiquette in 2026 — all the little things people do that make us think, “Why would you do that?!”From swiping through someone's photos without being invited, playing videos on loudspeaker in public and blocking the entire supermarket aisle, not letting people off public transport before getting on and people who stop directly in the middle of a walkway…We’ve got opinions. We also get into the 10-second rule, phone etiquette, filming strangers, queue etiquette and whether people have actually become ruder — or whether we're just getting older and more annoyed. 😂Basically, a list of completely reasonable rules that Lauren insists are just manners and Abbie isn't always convinced about. Is it rude, or are we being dramatic?

We’re probably both red flags… and in this episode, we’re finding out exactly why.
We talk about our own personal red flags, before getting into the things we think should make you question someone — following your ex on social media, liking thirst traps, taking six hours to text back and all the other little behaviours that can make you go, “Hmm…”
But then we get into the real question: what’s the difference between an actual red flag and just an annoying personality trait?
Because is being bad at texting a red flag? Is being jealous? Is being chronically late? Or are we just judging people for being mildly annoying?
Basically, we're calling each other out, questioning our own behaviour and deciding what actually counts as a red flag. 🚩

At what point are we supposed to feel like proper adults?
Because surely by now we should know what we’re doing… right?
In this episode, we’re talking about all the parts of adulthood that nobody really prepares you for. Still having to call your mum because you don’t know how something works, constantly having to decide what to eat, spending your life in the supermarket, keeping on top of the house and somehow always having another bit of life admin to deal with.
We talk about what we thought being an adult would actually be like, the things we assumed we’d have figured out by now and whether anyone ever really feels like they’ve got their shit together.
Basically, we’re two grown women sitting in a car wondering when the adult part is supposed to kick in.
Spoiler: we’re still waiting. 🚗

This episode is a bit of a weird one…
We’re talking about our own ghost stories, some of the strange things we’ve experienced and Abbie’s birthday ghost hunt — including whether she actually came away believing in ghosts.
And then, somehow, we end up talking about Shrek.
Abbie takes us through her very serious Shrek obsession and her side quest to the Shrek Experience… which is very much aimed at children. 😂
So, ghost stories, paranormal experiences and a grown woman going to the Shrek Experience for her own enjoyment.
Normal podcast behaviour.

Why are adults incapable of having ONE hobby?
Lauren starts with her current obsession with abandoned buildings, before we get into Abbie’s crochet and beading phases, Lauren’s ice skating era, her time as a beauty influencer and the scrapbook she bought ALL the supplies for… and then never touched.
We talk about why social media makes this even worse — you see someone doing something and suddenly think, “Wait… I could do that.” Before you know it, you’ve bought everything you need and decided this is your new personality.
Then we get into the important question: what actually counts as a hobby?
Is reading a hobby or just a personality trait? Is Pilates a hobby? And are runners allowed to make running their entire personality?
Basically, do we actually have hobbies… or do we just like the idea of becoming someone who does them? 🚗

Welcome to Pull Over… We Need to Talk 🚗🎙️
So… this is how we accidentally started a podcast.
It all started with Lauren making a TikTok about shiny object syndrome (because apparently having approximately 47 hobbies at any one time wasn’t enough). We started chatting about it, one conversation led to another, and somehow we went from talking about TikTok… to looking at podcast microphones… to actually recording a podcast. 😂
In our first ever episode, we talk about how we first met, how we bonded over Mini Eggs season, Lauren’s ever-growing list of hobbies and the slightly unhinged chain of events that got us here.
We’re Lauren and Abbie — sisters-in-law, two people who probably should not be left alone with a new idea.
And now we have a podcast. So that’s that.
