Personal Application Questions:
1. Even in response to adultery, divorce is not commanded but conceded. Read Malachi 2:16. How does God view divorce? How does society view divorce? Why do you think divorce is so prevalent in our world?
2. God forgives and restores all sinners, including those who have gone through a divorce. How does the gospel bring healing and reconciliation for those who have experienced a broken marriage?
3. In what ways can the church minister to those with hurting or broken marriages? Take a moment to pray for the marriages in our church. Pray for those who have experienced the pain of divorce (spouses, children, etc.)
