Pulse: Teenage pregnancies in Cameroon

A study conducted by Cameroon Medical Council shows that 25 percent of pregnancies in the country occur in teenage school girls. It places the blame on parental irresponsibility and peer influence. Contraceptives are still taboo in most communities, and the poverty level is still very high forcing many girls into prostitution.
