Yokasta Valle

Yokasta Valle is a Nicaraguan-born, Costa Rica–based three-division world boxing champion and one of the most dominant figures in women’s boxing today.

Born on August 28, 1992, in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, Valle moved to Costa Rica at a young age and began boxing at just 13 years old, inspired by her father. Renowned for her elite speed and relentless punch volume, Valle captured her first world title in 2016 and has since gone on to win multiple world championships across atomweight, minimumweight, and light flyweight divisions. Her résumé includes prestigious titles such as the IBF Atomweight Championship, unified IBF/WBO titles, and the WBC Strawweight World Championship.

Beyond the ring, Yokasta Valle is a powerful advocate for women’s boxing. In 2021, she was named IBF Female Fighter of the Year and later recognized as a United Nations Champion (Costa Rica), honoring her impact as a role model for young athletes.
