Yet for others, it was a day like so many others, filled with the small trials and small victories that accompany daily life. This Land is a lyrical and poetic look at the lives of Americans from all walks of life. The film follows a Native American man as he grapples with his past, a same-sex couple on opposite sides of the aisle, a rodeo clown simply trying to be a good father, and more. This film not only captures history in the making but explores what it means to be human.
