【In this episode】

We continue conversing with Laura over languages, to see how she describes her language learning journey.

Q: "Did you learn others in school?"

A: "I did have Spanish when I was eleven, and I also did my A levels in Spanish. So, I had like 8 years of Spanish lessons and I really liked it, because I also had Latin, and Latin is not the most exciting subject. You read a lot of historical things, and that's the exciting part, but the language is dead, you can't hear it from anybody, because nobody really speaks it. So, Spanish helped me with Latin because it's from the same family. And a lot of Spanish words are really similar to Latin words, and that's why I was really good at Latin, because I love Spanish, and I was like, yeah, it does make sense."
