Colorado is blessed with several world-class ski areas and Purgatory Resort is one of those. In the early 1980s, I had the privilege of living and working just a few miles from Purgatory. Then, in the late 1990s, my wife and I skied there for the first time. From those two experiences, it’s easy to see why Purgatory is so popular.
