Chronic illness and medical trauma are nothing new for me. I’ve lived with varying forms of sickness and skin disease since birth, experiencing severe eczema, psoriasis, allergies, environmental & food sensitivities, infections and autoimmune issues. I was hospitalized for flesh-eating disease when I was 6 years old, took time off school for a serious case of Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) when I was 16, and had my tonsils removed when I was 20 after years of chronic sinus infections.

After decades of mounting illness and debilitating symptoms, I became a medical mystery. Standard & alternative treatments were not working and I was now reacting to the very medications I had become reliant on. In 2020, I finally made the decision to stop all my medication and went through years of excruciating topical steroid withdrawal (TSW).

One day in 2023, everything exploded and I landed in the infectious disease clinic. Not only was my body in crisis, but I was now experiencing other layers of my reality spiritually. With each new wave of infection, I was simultaneously experiencing other lifetimes in history where I died in similar scenarios. This wasn’t just seeing my past lives, this was violently reliving my own death on repeat.

I look back on this past year of living in medical crisis as I try to come to terms with what exactly has happened and what it all means.
