Spirit is Fire. Fire is purity. The Spiritual body may not a body at all, but our connection to our soul, our Higher Self, to the Great Spirit. We can amplify our purification, our cleansing and healing by calling in the Spiritual Flame. Just as a forest fire cleanses out the old, decaying debris to make way for new life, so can the fire support us in our personal cleansing.

Just like the Phoenix, we must burn down our old self, the attachments that we have difficulty letting go of, and from these ashes we may be reborn.
