Bart, Roz, and Hock meet with Kiersten and she explains the purpose of Multae as she understands it. Their friends were taken to meet with a higher up in the organization, then they will be returned safely. Multae wants to help them save the protector because they understand its importance. 

Kiersten is a local. Hock knows her parents. She works as a personal shopper. The person who read her in knew things no one should have been able to know. 

They go back to the cabin to rest and get some food in them while waiting to see what happens next.
