It's Hispanic Heritage Month and I thought I'd celebrate with an episode about where I'm from, THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY!! I'm giving you the chisme on TexMex culture in the 956 as well as some fun facts about how I grew up there. I also mention the strong hispanic people in my life who built in the Valley that make me the strong Latina I am today.

I recently donated to the Martinez Street Women’s Center in San Antonio which provides transformative community health services, youth development programs and advocacy opportunities that empower women and girls of color. If any of ya’ll could donate to a charity that helps hispanic youth or the undeserved community in your area this month it’ll make you feel really great, I promise!!
