A mysterious figure speaks to Queen Lisbeth, sharing information about a recent party affecting the Queen's treaty with Cerren. The mysterious figure turns out to be none other than our fabulous Neyra Elana Darcy, who then wonders if Redcliff's ball will proceed.   

Prince Arthur runs down the hall, bearing a beautiful blue butterfly. He wonders why it doesn't move, but Darcy understands: it seeks its freedom.  

Meanwhile, the royal cabinet convenes to discuss the latest turn of events. Queen Lisbeth wants to place strict measures on the poorer districts, and Dakan wants to parlay with the Phantom Scythe.  

The king makes a decision, for once, and unfortunately, it isn't a good one.
