On this week’s show, we’ll be discussing three films that are currently playing at, or coming soon to FilmScene and downtown Iowa City.  Our line-up includes the Prince vehicle and cult hit Purple Rain, which  plays atFilmScene this Saturday night at 11pm as part of Bijou After Hours. Next, we’ll be discussing the John Hughes classic The Breakfast Club, which plays at The Englert, in partnership with FilmScene, this Saturday at 7pm, in celebration of its 30th Anniversary. That's the making of a great Saturday 80s double feature!  Finally we’ll be discussing French-Canadian filmmaker Xavier Dolan's Mommy, which has been playing at FilmScene this last week, and will continue to show both this evening and tomorrow.
