Have you ever gone through a hard time in life and wished you didn’t have too?

o   Well, you’re not alone. Even Jesus went through a time like that.

§  Today passage teaches how He chose to deal with it.

John 12:27

o   Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? “Father, save me from this hour.”? But for this purpose, I have come to this hour.

§  “Purpose” is what got Him through… 

·         Jesus chose not to focus on His circumstance, but on the purpose for which He was going through this circumstance!

John 12:35-36

o   The LIGHT is among you but a little while longer. Walk while you have the LIGHT, lest the darkness overtake you. While you have the LIGHT, believe in the LIGHT, that you might become Sons of LIGHT!

§  Jesus, the LIGHT, gives everything PURPOSE, even our pain and suffer, if only we would give it to Him.

Jesus is inviting you to walk in the LIGHT…

o   Will you?
