When you journal you’re able to bring your thoughts to a central location, where you can look at them. And there is a power in writing them down. There’s a power in journaling.
Purpose Through Journaling in 2025
Walk and talk with John Enslow
When you journal you’re able to bring your thoughts to a central location, where you can look at them. And there is a power in writing them down. There’s a power in journaling.
I heard someone talking the other day how, as it is with complex math problems, that we write them down. That we write them down, we figure them out and we get the answer. The same thing happens with our minds and our thoughts. Often we try to leave. We just try to think, think, think things through and it gets all jumbled. It gets off into the chaos of the mind and we don’t make definitive answers and solutions towards our life.
But what I have discovered is journaling is absolutely like writing down the math problem. When you journal you’re able to bring your thoughts and your ideas and your fears and your hopes and your dreams. You can bring them all to a central location where you can look at them and there is a power in writing them down. There’s a power in journaling. And I’m just… as we enter this new year, I’m just saying let’s journal. Let’s find the power of journaling so that we can work out the complex math problems of our own life and that we can discover our destiny and our purpose by journalling it out. Discovering it. Laying out the vision. I was talking about. The visualization. You lay them out, you write them out.
Write those out. Let let yourself see them in front of you. It has power. It has incredible power. The world being as chaotic as it is and as confusing as it is, with social media, with the mainstream media, with all the voices talking to us, and with our own chatter with our own chatter and the enemies chatter in our life. To journal it out, lays it out, and we can sift out the chaff and get the wheat, the grain, the perfect seeds that we want to grow and we want to live.
So I’m challenging you. If this has been a struggle for you, just set yourself down and write. Write out just your thoughts. Just lay them out. Another really good thing that I have discovered is the five minute journal there’s a book version as well as an app version and that combines your thoughts with your gratitude and your direction for each day. It takes five minutes to do. It’s a great start to journaling.
Some people are natural journaler. Some people write and write and write and just get so much joy out of it. If that’s not you, try the five minute journal. It’s an amazing app. It’s amazing book. And you literally have day by day, you have a morning and an evening, you spent five minutes twice a day and you write out what you’re grateful for you. Write out your positive affirmations and you can journal through your thoughts. And then from that point, I hope that you will launch into a greater habit of journaling and allowing the Lord to enter in that time and enter into those pages and those words and revealed to you His revelation for you and His destiny and His purpose for your life.
So I love you. I appreciate you and I hope that you will embrace the journaling of 2025 and see what the Lord will do.
Explore how journaling can help you gain clarity, discover your purpose, and rewrite your life story. Uncover how this simple habit can bring focus and spiritual insight into your daily life.
