In today's episode, I talk about the issues we're currently facing as a nation right now in 2020. Amidst the protest, the killing, and the outcries I wanted to bare my heart to you all on how I'm handling it and give you guys the space to speak your mind, ask questions and feel what you need to feel. Things are not easy at the moment but we do need to acknowledge what is happening in order to move forward together. We're one race under God with multiple cultures, ethnicities, and beliefs. Let's never forget it!

Reflecting on my life as I grew up away from my biological parents, I wanted to share how Mother's Day feels different to me. 

This episode was a difficult one to record but it is one that I'm extremely grateful for the strength to be able to record and share with you all. This one is for the guys and girls who have never felt quite whole and loved because of the lack of relationship/connection with your birth parents. I know the feeling, the hurt, the confusion, the frustration, and all the whys you wonder about.

I'm backkkkkk! It feels like forever! I'm so sorry that it took me a hot second to upload another episode but here we're! In today's episode, I give you 12 tips and advice that I'm giving myself right now and reminders I have for myself for this moment. If you feel this applies to you, you're NOT alone. I feel like everyone (almost everyone) I follow on my Instagram is pregnant, expecting, or is a new parent. I also feel like so many of my friends are expecting right now. I just told my husband the other day that when we have children, our kids won't have anyone their age to play with! Of course, that's not true, but that's kind of how it feels at times. So, if this episode speaks to you let me know on my Instagram!

Have you seen the new TV show Love is Blind? I'll be honest, I was a little late to the show BUT I did watch it and this is in part my response to the question, is love blind? To answer this age-old question, I dive into 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7. I know, we live in a pretty superficial world that wants us to focus on the perfect attributes of a person and in doing so sometimes missing out on connecting with someone on a humane level through the flaws we share. I hope you find this episode encouraging and reflective. I hope it challenges your perspective on what to expect and look for in a partner and the things to truly look for in relationships. So, for this episode, I talk about what the Bible has to say about the choice to become a parent. Especially in a world that is broken. The choice to become a parent is such a complex and life-changing decision that should not be taken lightly. I talk about why we still bring innocent children into an uncertain world and what a gift children are. Hey guys and gals! This week's episode is all about difficulties in a marriage that leads to grace. I talk about ways God prepared us and continues to prepare us for the big things in our marriage. The topis are sex, counseling, school, scheduling, house buying, children, and more! So come on and take a ride with me while I reflect on our first year of marriage and the things we've had to allow God to work through in us as a couple. I hope that for anyone getting married, already married or have been married for some time, you come to realize that you're not alone and that we all have different journeys. However, it doesn't mean we can't share our experiences to help one another feel less alone.
