Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.  Philippians 3v13-14 (MSG)

1. RUN from DESTRUCTIVE influences.  

But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. 1Timothy 6v11a (NLT)  

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.  Matthew 6v33 (NLT)  “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”  John 16v33   

2. Pursue God’s TRUTH above all else.   

Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. 1Timothy 6v11b (NLT)   

3.  RELY on Gods STRENGTH to fight in faith.  

Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses. 1Timothy 6v12 (NLT)
