As always, Kevin gets things started off with some of the games that he's been digging into recently — he's keeping the indie game train rolling this week, this time shining a spotlight on a couple of gems that he's recently discovered.

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels.  It's been a hot minute, but we finally have the full crew back in the house once again, and per usual, we've got all sorts of gaming goodies to dig into, so let's get things rolling...

Kevin & John get things started off with a quick recap on some of the games that they had a chance to experience, after taking a recent trip "up north" with their band, Boss Fight, to record some new tunes after 10+ years away from the studio!

After that, Randall & John are diving into the tail end of Kojima's involvement with the Metal Gear series, as they've both been playing quite a bit of Ground Zeroes & The Phantom Pain, respectively.

Finally, Randall closes us out with a little FPS action, after taking some time to revisit the first game in Microsoft's flagship franchise, courtesy of Halo: Campaign Evolved, which was released earlier this year.

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels.  It's just Kevin & John in the house again this week, but we've got all sorts of gaming goodies to dig into, so let's get right into the action!  (Randall will be back in action with us for the next proper episode of the PP Podcast.)

John kicks things off by spotlighting some of his recent 1-bit pixel art adventures on the Steam Deck — leading things off with some love for the Zelda-inspired Master Key, followed up by a quick shoutout to Minit Fun Racer (and the original game that it's based on).

After that, Kevin revisits Untitled Goose Game from House House, after being inspired to fire it back up again by the hype surrounding their recently released, online-multiplayer-only adventure, Big Walk.

Randall & Kevin get the ball rolling with each of their first impressions on the recently released Star Fox on Nintendo Switch 2 — a completely overhauled remake/reimagining of the Nintendo 64 classic.

After that, Kevin & John dig into their thoughts on Cast n Chill — an indie fishing game that has a boatload a potential, but left both of us wanting just a little bit more from the overall experience.

Finally, John & Kevin slather some praise onto Celeste 64: Fragments of the Mountain — a bite-sized 3D collectathon platformer, released to celebrate the original game's sixth anniversary!
