Psalm 37 advocates pursuing righteousness in a world in which the wicked seem to prosper. It gives assurance that such a pursuit will result in lasting peace and fulfillment. We are urged not to fret about the wicked or be envious of them, but to trust God, do good, delight in Him, and wait patiently; the success of the wicked is temporary while the righteous will inherit God's promises.
