2. Makowski (A Poland Border Defense Force Commander)

3. Palkovich (A Poland Sergeant)

4. Mr. Smith (An American engineer).

5. Markinchov (A Tall man from Lithuania Military)

6. Colemenoz (A Latvian Farmer)

7. Slavomir Rawicz (the author and main character, a former Poland cavalry officer).
