Put Out into the Deep

Luke 5:1-11

Four positions of my boat -> Four different experiences in life.

1. Tied by the lake (v.2) - A life to clean nets

2. Put out a little (v.3) - A life to allow Jesus in

3. Put out into the deep (v.4) - A life to engage in miracles

a. “We’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything” - I have failed

b. “But because you say so” –  I will trust Your Words

c. “I will let down the nets” –  I will respond in faith

4. Left on land (v.11) - A life to move on and bless others

“Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.” Will you respond to His call ?
